Three Benimar ‘vans and an updated layout were making their October NEC Show debut on the Marquis Leisure stand this week.

The first of the new models is the Benimar Primero 202, a four-berth ‘van with four belts. It has an electric drop down bed at the front of the ‘van, coming to 1.39m x 1.90m, while a double bed can be made up in the lounge, which is 1.40m x 2.10m. At the rear of the ‘van, the kitchen and washroom can both be found.

Coming to 5.95m in length, it has an MTPLM of 3500kg and a payload of either 621kg (manual) or 571kg if you opt for the 140BHP automatic gearbox, which is a £4,000 extra. It has an OTR price of £69,990.

Joining the Primero on the stand was the Tessoro 840, a three berth model with four belts. Beds in the ‘van include a fixed double bed at the rear of the ‘van, which comes to 1.35m x 1.96m, while the single berth can be made up in the front lounge, which comes to 1.81m x 0.9m.

Coming on a Ford Transit base vehicle, it has a central kitchen and washroom. The ‘van comes to 5.99m in length, has an MTPLM of 3500kg, and a payload of 665kg. It has an OTR price of £78,495, with the ‘van on display priced at £80,995 due to the optional extra of a 165BHP Automatic gearbox.

The other new Tessoro is the 861, another three berth but this time, it’s a motorhome with fixed single beds at the rear instead of the fixed double bed seen in the 840. These extend to 0.79m x 1.91m and 0.79m x 2.03m, while the third berth is again found in the lounge, and comes to 1.81m x 0.9m.

Its OTR price is £79,995, but the model on the Marquis Leisure stand has a 165 BHP automatic gearbox which puts it at £82,495. Both Tessoro ‘vans have a rear garage

A new layout was seen in the Mileo 294, a four-berth ‘van with four belts. Unlike the 2024 Benimar Mileo 294, the Fiat Ducato-based ‘van now comes with a face-to-face lounge, which the cab seats can be swivelled around to face.

Features include a hinged roof double bed at the front of the ‘van, which comes to 1.40m x 1.90m, and a rear island bed which is the same size, while its rear garage should provide useful storage. It has an MTPLM of 3650kg, a MiRO of 3254kg, a length of 7.39m and an OTR price of £81,995.

Visitors to the Marquis Leisure stand also got to see four Elnagh Baron motorhomes, with the brand returning to the UK for the first time since 2009. Also on display was the Mobilvetta Admiral, a two-berth ‘van that comes on a Fiat Ducato and has both underfloor and underseat storage, a fitted solar panel and 16″ alloy wheels.
