Bailey has unveiled its Adamo XL models, three new additions to its Adamo range, all of which are 8m long and are targeted at those who are planning longer tours.

The Adamo XL range will be Ford-based and feature electrically operated drop-down beds. The ‘vans have a good spec, which includes a 200W Truma solar panel, a 105Ah leisure battery, and 100-litre fresh and waste water tanks. Other features include a Truma Combi 6E heating system and a 2.0L 165bhp engine. However, it could be worth checking you have the appropriate motorhome driving licence, as the ‘vans have an MTPLM of 4250kg, meaning a C1 license will be required.

First up is the Adamo XL-I, a rear island bed motorhome with four berths and a front Flexi lounge with a freestanding dinner table. The ‘van has a MiRO of 3279kg, a payload of 971kg and an OTR price of £83,999.

This is joined by the XL-T, again a four-berth but this time a motorhome with fixed single beds at the rear. The XL-T has a MiRO of 3283kg, a payload of 967kg and an OTR price of £83,999.

The last addition in the range is the five-berth Bailey Adamo XL-DL, which features drop-down double beds above both the front L-shaped dinette and the rear lounge. The final berth can then be made up in the rear lounge. There is also a storage area at the rear which can be accessed both internally and externally, offering good space for any touring gear.

Each ‘van also comes with a central kitchen which includes a Thetford 150-litre compressor fridge, a stainless steel sink, and a Thetford combined oven, grill, gas hob and electric hot plate. While the XL-I and XL-T both have four travel seats, the XL-DL offers five.

Visitors to the Bailey stand at the February NEC Show are set to be able to see the new models – if you’re planning to attend but haven’t bought your ticket yet, be sure to check out our Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show discount code.
