Coleman is displaying its new range of Pro cooler boxes at the NEC Show this week, the Pro 55QT Wheeled, the Pro 45QT and the Pro 25QT.

The best cool box for a campervan can make a real difference to those without the benefit of an onboard fridge or freezer, or who need some portable cooling for big days out.

Built with high-quality PU full-foam insulation in both the lid and body, the 52-litre capacity Pro 55QT (£229.99) will keep drinks and food cold for up to five days, great for camping, picnics and days at the beach. Roto moulded for better performance, the unit is extremely robust and certainly strong enough to double as a seat. The large wheels and telescopic handle make it easy to move even when full. Simply add ice packs and/or froze food and away you go. It also features a water drain at the bottom so that you easily release any melt.

The smaller 42.5 litre capacity Pro 45QT will keep drinks and food cold for up to 4.5 days and instead of wheels has two large side handles for transportation. The even smaller 24 litre capacity Pro 25QT keeps drinks and food cold for up to 3.5 days and has an adjustable shoulder strap.

Those on the hunt for the best flasks for hot drinks could find the accompanying Pro 3.7L Jug an interesting prospect. It has double-wall vacuum insulation and will keep drinks hot for up to 34 hours or cold up to 75 hours, while the smaller 1.8L Jug will keep drinks hot for up to 23 hours or cold up to 48 hours.

There has been plenty to see at the February NEC Show this week, with a number of new releases from manufacturers and van converters. This includes the launch of the Supertwin range of campervans from Adria, with the Slovenian manufacturer having the first model from the range on show, the SPB PT. The Citroën Holidays has also made its debut at the NEC, with the small ‘van considerably cheaper than the Ford Nugget and VW California.
