Sunlight has become the latest previously entirely Fiat-based motorhome brand to offer Ford-based vehicles in its line-up.
Three new Ford-based models have been included in what Sunlight claims is its 2024 model year line-up, even though they should be available in UK forecourts in February.
The four-berth and 6.99m-long T670S, and the T680 and T690L, both 7.36m long with five berths and five seats, will all be available on a Ford Transit with a 130PS engine and six-speed manual gearbox as standard.
The T670S has a Vario washroom, while the other two have full washrooms. All three models come with a two-burner hob and a 156-litre fridge. They also all have an interior headroom of 210cm.
Sunlight will, however, be continuing with Fiat-based models with similar lengths and layouts. A spokesperson said the new vehicles were more an addition to the current product portfolio. “We gain more variety and flexibility,” he said.
For 2024 the Erwin Hymer Group company has also refreshed the interiors of its motorhomes. This includes a new Green Tail upholstery option, involving a black/green colour scheme with yellow accents. There are also new overhead lockers and a new illuminated bulkhead shape. All 2024 models except the Vans range get a new 63cm wide habitation door with a window and inbuilt storage trays. And on the outside Sunlight is ditching the Sunlight working so the only visible branding will be its palm tree logo.
Sunlight says it had most of the new plans already decided several months ago, but had to postpone the new launch because of the pandemic.
