Ever since it was introduced in 2015 in celebration of Amazon’s 20th anniversary, Prime Day has been allowing consumers to pick up some unmissable bargains, and this year is set to be no different. We’re here to ensure you don’t miss the deals you need to know about and will be keeping you updated with our pick of the best offers as we see them. Yesterday, there were some brilliant savings to be had and the good news, as we move onto Day 2, is there are still plenty of savings to be had, with products from big brands such as Jackery, Maypole, TomTom, Black+Decker, Vango, Renogy and Draper all in the sale.
One thing to remember is you’ll need to have an active Amazon Prime subscription to participate in most of the deals. If you don’t have a subscription at the moment, you can sign up to a 30-day free Amazon Prime trial – this can be cancelled at any time within the 30-day period, but will still let you secure any deals on motorhome accessories you see during the event. You can also sign up for £8.99 a month or £95 for a 12-month subscription.

Anker 535 Solar Generator was £449, now £329
Currently available for only £329 and with a great 27% saving in the Prime Day sale, the Anker 535 is a great mid option for ‘van owners to consider, with a capacity of 512wh. There is a good selection of ports too – seven in total, including two AC ports, three USB-A ports, one USB-C port and a car outlet, with its AC socket able to power devices of less than 500W (although it is only for use with products with inputs of less than 200W.

An inverter can end up being a pricey piece of kit, which was why this inverter caught the eye of Practical Motorhome’s editor, Sarah. It may only offer 300W but if you’re off-grid and need to power a low-wattage device, it will tick the box. With a smart, compact red-aluminium shell, you have the choice of attaching it with the provided 12V plug or by using crocodile clips directly to your ‘van’s battery. It’s currently available with a whopping 45% discount, bringing it down to only £33.99.
Renogy 200Ah Lithium Leisure Battery was £639.99 now £519.99
If you like going offgrid in your ‘van, this powerful lithium battery from Renogy could be ideal. It has an impressive output of 200AH but, according to the maker, you should expect up to 212AH. Working optimally for 5000 charging cycles, it self-regulates and also has a low-temperate cut off so you won’t need to worry about damage if you’re a fan of winter touring or plan to store it during the colder months. It’s 19% Prime Day saving shaves £120 off the price tag, bringing it down to only £519.99.
Renogy 500A Battery Monitor was £84.99 now £44.99
Save 47% on this Renogy gadget. Suitable for use with different types of battery, such as lithium-ion and lead acid, it’s able to measure battery capacity, current, voltage and consumer power in real-time, with information displayed on its LCD display. It’s currently available with an excellent 47% discount, bringing it down to only £44.99.

Tom Tom Go Camper Max was £299, now £254.99
Currently reduced by 15% in the Prime Day sale, this TomTom sat nav provides numerous features to ensure you enjoy a stress free experience on the road. For instance, there’s specific routing for your motorhome, taking the dimensions of your ‘van into account to avoid obstacles, while you can also turn on the ‘avoid LEZ’ feature to ensure you steer clear of low-emission zones while on your journey. A clear seven-inch screen displays the information.
Prime Day touring accessory deals
Colaps 7L Collapsible Watering Can was £26.99, now £22.94
A watering can can be highly useful for motorhomers who need to top up their fresh water tank, saving you from having to move your ‘van. This is where this collapsible option comes into its own, saving you valuable space when you don’t need it. It’s a useful product that can either be used as a water bucket (with a 9 litre capacity) or a watering can (with a seven litre capacity), and then, when you’re done, simply fold it down and store the attachments in the base. The padded seat and backrest make this a very appealing option if you’re looking for that bit of extra comfort when you’re relaxing on tour. With a 15% saving currently available, it’s reduced to only £73.09 over Prime Day.

This was another standout pick from Sarah, the editor of Practical Motorhome. It’s a clever way of packing your clothes for easy hanging it in your ‘van’s wardrobe, then once your tour’s over, simply unhook it and take them back in – a straightforward way of getting your clothes from home to your home-on-wheels and back again. Thanks to a front cover it can ensure your clothes remain clean, and should you only need a part of it, you can zip up the bottom section.
Amazon Prime Day vacuum deals for motorhomes
Black+Decker 12V Auto Hand Vacuum was £49.96, now £36.99
If you’re after a way of keeping on top of dirt and debris in your motorhome, this Black+Decker Prime Day deal could be the one for you. This 12V corded vacuum provides an efficient way of cleaning your ‘van, with an easy-to-empty dust bowl, a 1.5m hose and, thanks to a weight of only 1.49kg, it won’t eat into your payload either. It also has a 5m hose, meaning it should let you reach into most corners of your motorhome too. A storage bag is also provided to keep all the parts together til its next required.
Prime day gadget deals for motorhomers
COSORI Air Fryer was £99.99 now £49.99
One of my favourite deals this Prime Day is the 50% saving on this motorhome air fryer from Cosori. Thanks to a capacity of 4.7 litres, it should be perfect for cooking food for up to four of you. Reaching up to 230 degrees, it has a wattage of 1500W and displays its information on a clear display. It offers a highly useful nine cooking functions, making it the ideal option if your ‘van only has limited facilities. It’s currently available for only £49.99.
Nebula Mars 3 Air was £549.99 now £429.99
The Mars 3 Air is an impressive projector and makes a great alternative to a TV. I’ve actually been testing one recently and I’ve been amazed by the clarity of image and the sound quality provided. It’s not just the clear 1080p display that impressed me though, as it scales in size to reach up to 150-inches – it’s the built-in battery. This could, I think, make it a real asset to ‘van owners who may want to move it around and watch in different parts of their van – or even outside. After watching a film for nearly 2.5 hours, it still had 37% battery left – impressive. Watching it in daylight did impact clearness (particularly if in sunlight), but in dimmer rooms or in the evening with the light on, the image was excellent.
RCA 12V RB24H2CU 24-inch TV was £139.99, now £113.99
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly TV for your motorhome, this 12V option from RCA is well worth considering. With a resolution of 720p, the product has a good selection of ports, including a HDMI and a USB input, as well as a Dolby Sound System. The HD TV is currently reduced to only £113.99 over Prime Day, a 19% saving.
Vango Sizzle Induction Hob was £70, now £51.49
This 800W hob is an excellent choice for motorhomers who are after an induction option for their ‘van. It’s able to reach a max temperature of 200 degrees, while we like the inclusion of an integrated cooling fan. It’s worth noting it’s only for stainless steel pans, but we are like how it comes to a highly portable weight of only 1.42kg. Thanks to a 26% saving in the Prime Day sale, it’s currently available for only £51.49.
