Ever since it was introduced in 2015 in celebration of Amazon’s 20th anniversary, Prime Day has been allowing consumers to pick up some unmissable bargains, and this year is set to be no different. We’ll be keeping you updated with our pick of the best offers as we see them. So far, we’ve spotted some brilliant deals on the winner of the best motorhome gadget at the Practical Motorhome Awards 2024, as well as a sat nav we shortlisted in another category.
Other deals we’ve spotted include big savings on a cordless vacuum cleaner we also shortlisted, while there are some great deals on awnings, covers and more!
One thing to remember is you’ll need to have an active Amazon Prime subscription to participate in most of the deals. If you don’t have a subscription at the moment, you can sign up to a 30-day free Amazon Prime trial – this can be cancelled at any time within the 30-day period, but will still let you secure any deals on motorhome accessories you see during the event. You can also sign up for £8.99 a month or £95 for a 12-month subscription.

Our winner of the best motorhome gadget at this year’s Practical Motorhome Awards is currently available with a 27% discount. We were really impressed by its ease of use, as well as the performance it provides – you can even see the rate your gadgets are charging at. The number of ports provides plenty of versatility, with options including two 12DCs, a 12V socket, two USB-As, one USB-C and a 220-240V AC/600W port. The wireless charging pad is another handy addition too.

Jackery Explorer 240 £259.99, now £155.99
Currently available with a huge 40% saving, the Jackery 240 provides a budget-friendly and compact portable power station option. It’s a bit more of an entry-level option than the Bluetti, as reflected by its four ports, but we think it’s ideal if you have a smaller ‘van and need to keep an eye on your payload. With a weight of only 3kg, its AC port can power and charge products operating at less than 200W.

Amazon Prime Day sat nav deals for motorhomers
TomTom Go Camper Max – £349.99 now £284.99
We shortlisted the TomTom Go Camper Max at the Practical Motorhome Awards 2024 because we really liked its clear 7″ HD screen and how it takes the dimensions of your ‘van into account when planning your route. Then there’s the voice control, the Scenic routing that lets you enjoy a more beautiful drive, and the option of a one-year free trial to receive speed camera alerts.
Prime Day awning deals for motorhomers
Lichfield California Drive-Away Air Awning – low – £515.99, now £405.83
We’ve noticed the Lichfield California Drive-Away Air Awning, Excalibur, is currently on offer this Prime Day. The air awning is made with a 150 D polyester fabric, providing a durable and waterproof option for use on tour. It comes with fully taped seams for a watertight seal, as well as pole and clamp kit sleeve, 8m straps and a pre-attached 6mm kador strip. Airflow ventilation panels should help to create a good supply of air too, cutting down on condensation. It’s available in both low and high sizes too, so you can find the option that best suits your measurements.

Maypole Motorhome Covers – prices start from £114.49
We shortlisted this cover at the recent Practical Motorhome Awards, as we like how it provides motorhome owners with a reasonably priced way of protecting their ‘vans from the weather, thanks to its breathable four-ply material which is waterproof and comes with an elasticated hem to provide a good fit. Now, it’s even more budget-friendly, as it’s available with a 15% discount during the Prime Day sale. The cover comes in a variety of sizes, starting from up to 19ft and extending to 22-25ft – the latter option is currently the cheapest it’s been since 2020, according to Amazon price tracking tool CamelCamelCamel.
Prime Day kitchen accessory deals for motorhome owners
Aigostar 2-Slice Toaster £25.99 now £21.99
If you’re a fan of toast on tour, the 15% saving could make this Aigostar an attractive proposition. At the July Prime Day event, it was picked out by Practical Motorhome’s editor, Sarah, as one of the Prime Day deals she’s most tempted by too, and if you didn’t get it then, this is your chance.
The low wattage toaster has some useful features – for instance, it can defrost and reheat, while its crumb tray is removable at the bottom too.
Prime Day camping chair deals
Vango Thor Over-Sized Chair, Excalibur X-Large – £98.11 – now £74.99
A huge saving is currently available on the Thor Over-Sized Chair, Excalibur X-Large, bringing its price down from £98.11 to £74.99. It may weigh 6.3kg, but it can take a max load of up to 180kg. The 600D polyester padded seat and backrest make this a very appealing option if you’re looking for that bit of extra comfort when you’re relaxing on tour
Vango Lunar Chair – £53.72 now £45.87
Another Vango product we’ve spotted that we think could be a great option to consider is the Lunar Chair, temporarily reduced to £45.87. With a maximum weight recommendation of 120kg, the chair has an alloy steel frame and only weighs 4.58kg, giving you a fairly lightweight option. It’s also got a padded seat and backrest, so we reckon you won’t be getting uncomfortable any time soon when you’re relaxing in the sun.

Amazon Prime Day vacuum deals for motorhomes
Gtech Multi Mk2 Handheld Vacuum Cleaner – £169.99 now £131.99
Weighing only 1.5kg, the Multi MK2 gives you a lightweight way of vacuuming up any dirt or crumbs that may have built up in your ‘van during a tour. Taking only four hours to charge, the product, which made it into our best motorhome vacuum cleaner guide and was also shortlisted at our recent Awards, has a 20-minute runtime and comes with a number of attachments too, including a dusting brush and an extension tube for those hard to reach areas.
