It’s now Day 3 of Prime Day – yes, you did read that correctly! This July, Prime Day is a little different, running from 8th-11th July, giving you that extra time to find those motorhome tour-enhancing accessories that can make a real difference to your time on the road.

Practical Motorhome is supported by its audience. When you purchase through links on our site, we may earn an affiliate commission. Learn more.

Prime Day initially began in 2015 to celebrate Amazon’s 20th anniversary and has gone on to become one of the biggest online shopping events. If you’re thinking of bagging yourself a bargain, I’m here to help – I’ve been taking a look and am sharing the deals I reckon are actually worth knowing about. Having been a judge on the Practical Motorhome Awards for four years, I know the accessories and gadgets that will actually enhance a tour, versus those which sit gathering dust in a corner at home.

Don’t forget, you need an active Amazon Prime subscription to access these deals, but if you find there’s a particular bargain you don’t want to miss out on, you can always sign up to a 30-day free Amazon Prime trial, which can be cancelled at any point within the 30-day period. Otherwise, membership costs £8.99 a month or £95 for a 12-month subscription.

Whether you’re after a sun canopy, a VW coolbox, a new sat nav or some cooking gadgets, there’s almost certainly something in the Prime Day sale for you.

Prime Day motorhome gadget deals

The Amazon Echo Auto

Echo Auto (2nd gen.) was £59.99 now £29.99 (save 50%)

Owners of older campervans or motorhomes are not likely to have built-in voice assistant, which is where the Echo Auto comes into its own. Currently available with a huge 50% discount, it gives you the freedom to bring Alexa into your motorhome, not only allowing you to play your favourite tunes on the road, but letting you take calls hands-free too. That’s not all – it includes a fast car charger as well, providing the useful ability to top up your phone on the go.

EcoFlow River 2 Max
Image: Amazon

EcoFlow River 2 Max was £449 now £259 (save 42%)

One of our favourite portable power stations is currently available with a huge 42% discount. Coming with a capacity of up to 512Wh, we like how it takes only an hour to charge from an AC outlet, and it can power up to nine appliances simultaneously. The manufacturer says you could charge a phone up to 41 times with it, while its LFP battery should be good for more than 3000 charges. There are a wide range of outputs too, including a USB-C, three USB-A sockets, two AC sockets, a DC socket and one DC5521.

TomTom Go Camper Max
Image: Amazon

TomTom Go Camper Max was £299 now £236.99

The Go Camper Max comes with many of the features you could want in a good ‘van sat nav, including custom routing, preloaded POIs, and providing warnings of Low Emission Zones, with information all displayed in a clear seven-inch screen. The TomTom was on offer over Amazon’s Spring Deal Days event for the same £236.99, and its current price is cheaper than it was over Black Friday too, where it retailed for £249.99 – if you need a new sat nav, we’d say this is a good price for it.

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite
Image: Amazon

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite was £169.99 now £134.99 (save 21%)

As an avid reader, it’s become almost a daily tradition of mine to browse the Kindle Deals of the Day each morning. The advantage of reading on a Kindle vs using the app on your phone is that it saves your phone’s battery life and also cuts down screen time – plus, you’re less likely to be distracted by a incoming WhatsApp. The Paperwhite will be ideal for longer tours, thanks to a battery life of up to 12 weeks. It’s currently available with a huge 21% saving, bringing it down to only £134.99 (personally, I prefer an ad-free Kindle, although one with ads is also available for £118.74 in the sale).

Anker Power Bank
Image: Amazon

Anker Power Bank was £17.99 now £12.99

Super slim and super lightweight, this Anker charger is ideal for keeping your phone topped up when you’re out and about for the day. Coming with two-way USB-C charging, the portable charger has a 10,000mAh capacity, which the manufacturer advises will be suitable to charge an iPhone 15 up to two times. However, if you would rather have a more powerful option, the larger 20,000mAh capacity charger is also reduced in the sale to £24.89.

Nebula Mars 3 Air
Image: Amazon

Nebula Mars 3 Air was £549 now £417.99

When I tested the Nebula Mars 3 Air, I thought it was a highly impressive option that could add a lot to the touring experience. It has a clear 1080p display and 400 ANSI Lumen and is able to project a screen size of up to 150 inches, handy if you downsize your current motorhome. What I think could make it especially good for ‘van owners is its battery  -when I tested it, it had 37% left after watching a film of around 2.5 hours, which would give you the freedom to move the projector around with ease a TV doesn’t provide. You could, for instance, move it to your awning. Sound is also excellent, while a good selection of apps will allow you to watch your favourite streaming services, so long as you have access to the internet.

Yuasa L35-100
Image: Amazon

Yuasa L35-100 was £113.97 now £91.24 (save 20%)

This Yuasa leisure battery isn’t actually in the Prime Day sale but the current 20% discount felt too good a deal to not highlight. Offering an output of 100Ah, it’s one that we’d say is best used if you’re going to have electric hook-up, due to its NCC rating of C, but it comes with a fitted carry handle for transporting and lifting (do mind its weight of 24.7kg though), as well as an integrated flame arrestor.

Chefman 3.8L Air Fryer
Image: Amazon

Chefman 3.8L Air Fryer was £54.99 now £39.99 (save 27%)

Ah air fryers – where would we be without them? They’ve become such staples in our domestic kitchens that it’s understandable why so many people are asking “can you use an air fryer in a campervan?” nowadays. The good news is you can – so long as you have the right means to power them. At 1500W, this Chefman would require hook-up (and make sure you’re not operating other high-powered gadgets at the same time), but it comes packed with features to make on-tour mealtimes simple. It’s capable of reaching up to 235°C during the final minutes of cooking for that extra crisp finish too, with a digital touch screen allowing you to control the appliance – alternatively, use one of the preset functions to simplify cooking even more. We like how it automatically shuts off after use, for that extra peace of mind. Enjoy a big 27% saving on it this Prime Day.

Image: Amazon

Toshiba MM-MM20P(WH) was £69.99 now £52.99 (save 24%)

An excellent 24% saving brings this Toshiba, one of our picks for the best microwave for a campervan, down to only £52.99. At only 800W, it will be perfectly suitable to use if you have access to electric hook-up, and combines a smart look with five different power settings which includes a defrost mode. Ok, it’s 12kg, so make sure you have the payload for it, but if your kitchen needs a revamp, this could be the Prime Day bargain for you.

It has four preset cooking modes, with its digital display and touch buttons simple to navigate. We also like how it operates quietly, running at only 48dB.

Campingaz Party Grill 200
Image: Amazon

Campingaz Party Grill 200 was £59.97 now £40

At the start of the Prime Day event, this was £48.44 – it’s now been reduced further to £40. One of the joys of touring is enjoying a barbecue – and that’s exactly what the Campingaz Party Grill 200 offers. Currently reduced by 19%, it relies on gas cartridges to operate (which can run for up to three hours), and, thanks to its Piezo ignition, is straightforward to ignite. At only 2.84kg, it’s a nicely lightweight option too.

Beldray Collapsible Dish Drainer
Image: Amazon

Beldray Collapsible Dish Drainer was £11.99 now £7.99 (save 33%)

We really like the practicality that collapsible accessories add to the touring lifestyle – fold out in seconds when needed, then fold away in seconds when no longer needed. This draining board from Beldray is a case in point, allowing you to wash up, with holes allowing excess water to drain away, and then it can be folded up for storage until your next meal. It even comes with a useful crockery holder.

A red VW cool box

Volkswagen Mobile Cool Box Cooler in T1 Bulli Bus Shape was £202.11 now £179.79

Cool in more ways than one, this officially licensed VW T1 campervan coolbox offers a 26-litre capacity and, thanks to its rubber wheels and handle, should be easy to move around. Both leakproof and insulated, it weighs 12.8kg, and even features a drainage plug, so emptying it will be straightforward if you have filled it with ice.

Muggi 4 cup carrier
Image: Amazon

Muggi 4 cup carrier was £14.95 now £12.71

Image: Amazon

5-piece Space Saving Kitchen Accessory Set was £9.99 now £7.96

If you’re short of room in your motorhome, you will know the benefits of space-saving accessories – a case in point, this 5-piece accessory set. It’s one that Practical Motorhome’s editor, Sarah, has, and she’s reported that she’s found it very useful to store in her campervan. It includes a vegetable peeler, a garlic grater, a pizza cutter, a cheese grater, and a bottle opener, and importantly, she’s found the quality impressive too.

Prime Day handheld vacuum deals

Gtech Vacuum
Image: Amazon

Gtech Multi MK2 was £169.99 now £133.93 (save 21%)

It’s not the cheapest I’ve ever seen it, but the Gtech Multi MK2 is one of our favourite cleaning gadgets and is still available with a 21% saving this Prime Day. Thanks to its 22V lithium-ion battery, it can provide up to 20 minutes of runtime from only a four-hour charge, giving you the option of keeping your motorhome’s interior spotless when you’re on the go. We like its lightweight of 1.5kg, so if you do take it on tour, you’ll find it payload-friendly too.

Shark WandVac 1.0
Image: Amazon

Shark WandVac 1.0 was £129.99 now £78.84 (save 39%)

Another cordless vacuum that we’re big fans of, the Shark WandVac 1.0 manages to come in at an even lighter weight of only 700g. It comes with two attachments which we think help to make life easier – a crevice tool for reaching all of those nooks and crannies in a motorhome, and a multi-surface pet tool, ideal for those who tour with dogs. Coming with a run-time of up to eight minutes, we think it will be ideal for keeping your motorhome’s interior spotless when you’re on the go. At the start of the event, it was reduced to £82.99 – this has come down further, and it’s now only £78.84.
