Pilote is introducing two new models in the Ford-based low-profile Atlas range for 2026 and also adding a new 6.33m-long model to its Vega campervan line-up, complete with a highly flexible bed setup in the rear.

Whether you’re after a campervan or motorhome, the 2026 releases from Pilote could fit the bill. Within the French company’s coachbuilt ranges, the Ford-based 6.33m-long A630G includes a transverse bed and a drop-down bed, while the 7m-long A690GJ has fixed twin beds.

The new models, which both have washrooms with swivelling partitions, effectively replace the P600P, P650C and P650GJ models within Pilote’s conventional width low-profiles, which have now been discontinued.

In the Vega range, the V630S, which replaces the shorter V600S, has a new campervan layout with two double transverse bunk beds that can be variously folded up to allow for more storage in the back. The V600J has also been discontinued.

Within the company’s A-class Galaxy range, the fixed single bed G720FGJ, introduced last season as a special edition, is now a permanent feature.

Equipment upgrades include the use of Truma and optional Alde diesel heating in many of this year’s models. This means smaller gas bottles need only be used for cooking, freeing up storage space.

On the outside, both low-profile and A-class models now come with new graphics, while low-profile models now come with a sportier back panel (taken from the Ford-based Atlas models). You may not have to bother choosing your best motorhome awning, because they also come with a black awning with integrated LED lighting. As an option you can also have a black cab.

Interiors now come with a new black swan-neck kitchen tap, bigger lounge cushions, and a choice of three upholstery options – Clay, Sand and Cottage. A fifth seatbelt is also now an option on the P740C and P740 GJ.

Groupe Pilote’s high-end brand Le Voyageur, which is known for its luxury motorhomes, is adding two new models to its Mercedes-based Heritage range – the LVXH 6.9LF, with an end corner kitchen, and the LVXH 7.9GJL, which comes with twin beds and five travel seats.

Last season, the brand added the Le Voyageur 7.6 GJF Heritage, a motorhome which impressed us enough to be highly commended at the Practical Motorhome Awards 2025.

Pilote is not the only Continental manufacturer to be releasing information about its new season releases, with French brand Fleurette having launched a longer compact layout and also a special edition targeted at encouraging relaxation.
