The Chausson X650 is making its debut at the October NEC Show this week (17-22 October).
The innovative ‘van was our winner of the best low-profile motorhome at the Practical Motorhome Awards 2024. The ‘van’s standout feature is its smart dressing room – when you’re travelling to the campsite, you have the option of transforming it into a garage which can transport up to two bikes.
Then, when you reach your chosen destination, you can lower the garage’s roof and it becomes the dressing room’s floor. Other features include a washroom with a swing partition and a drop-down bed in the spacious lounge.
It’s also a relatively compact ‘van, coming with a width of only 2.1m, so it should provide easier navigation of narrow urban streets. The motorhome’s price starts from £76,990 and it has an MTPLM of 3500kg.
Other new models making their debut include the three-model Alora range from Bailey, while Auto-Trail has unveiled its new Ford-based models too. Coachman also has its Travel Master Imperial 845 on display, the first A-class model in the range.
