The first official duty of the Camping and Caravanning Club’s new President, Hamza Yassin, has been marked with the unveiling of a new logo and website.
TV presenter and author Hamza’s first duty saw him make an appearance at the February NEC Show on Thursday 15th, where he celebrated camping in all of its forms. Hamza, who has his own campervan, is an advocate of the importance of spending time in the great outdoors and learning how to protect it, as well as the associated benefits of getting closer to nature.
At the same time as Hamza’s first duty, the Camping and Caravanning Club has unveiled a new logo and website, as well as a new-look monthly members magazine, with the goal of inspiring more travel for motorhome and campervan owners (check out our best campervan sites guide if you’re after ideas for your next tour).
Sabina Voysey, the Club’s Director General, said: “These are exciting times with a new President, who is a great fit for our organisation, and a new look for the Club that’s all about welcoming everyone to the incredible outdoors.”
As well as Hamza’s first official duty, visitors to the February Show got to see Welsh converter Kaktus debut with its Dune and Oasis ‘vans, while the Caravan and Motorhome Club announced its pick of the standout European campsites.
