It’s that time of year when we’re coming to the end of the touring season and many of us will be turning our minds to storing our motorhomes. An important purchase here will be a good cover – these not only protect your ‘van from the elements, UV damage and bird droppings but also double up as a bit of extra security. If you’re on the hunt for one, I’ve spotted two cover deals on Amazon Prime Day that you’ll definitely want to know about.

First up is the Maypole Motorhome Cover range, which made our shortlist at the Practical Motorhome Awards 2024 for the best motorhome cover category.
I like how the cover is available in a variety of sizes, starting from up to 19ft (5.7m), and extending to 22-25ft (7-7.5m), with prices starting from only £114.49, thanks to the 15% saving that can be enjoyed across the range. Take the 22-25ft option as an example – at its Prime Day price of £148.97, it’s the cheapest it’s been since 2020, according to Amazon price tracking tool CamelCamelCamel.
There’s more to this range than its reasonable price though – I like how it can offer good protection too. It’s made from a waterproof and breathable four-ply material, while an elasticated hem ensures a good fit, helping to prevent loose material from flapping in any strong winds.
I always rate simplicity and I like the ease of fitting and removing this too, while accessing the ‘van when it’s in storage should also be relatively straightforward.
I’m also a big fan of the nylon straps with buckles that come with the cover – these help it stay securely attached, giving some extra peace of mind against potential thieves.
That’s not the only cover on offer at the moment though. I’ve also seen you can save 15% on Maypole’s Fiat Ducato / Peugeot Boxer campervan cover. Like the motorhome cover, it comes with four-ply polypropylene fabric, not only protecting your ‘van from UV rays, but also providing protection from the weather.
Currently reduced to £90.92 from £106.99, it even comes with a handy storage bag for when your ‘van’s in use.
