Great for all exterior surfaces, you apply this Aqua Wax to your unit while it’s still wet straight after washing. I like the fact that it’s an all-in-one solution and is easy to apply – it comes with two microfibre cloths. The result is a hard wax finish which lasts some six weeks. The massive saving of 58% for what is an award-winning brand makes this one of the best deals I’ve seen.

If you’ve going to clean any part of your vehicle, I’d suggest that windows should be a priority – you literally have to look through them! The Fast Glass window cleaner comes in a spray dispenser for optimum coverage and ease of use and can be used both in and outside your vehicle. I like its ease of use and the fact it can be used on a number of surfaces, including glass, mirrors, plastics, paintwork and screens used in car video and navigation equipment.

I don’t know about you, but unless my wheels are gleaming it doesn’t feel like I’ve given my van a proper going over. Maybe it’s because wheels get so noticeably dirty, but a freshly clean wheel shines all the brighter. You need a top product to get through all that road dirt and brake dust and this is just the job – suitable for lacquered alloys, painted and plastic finishes.

Designed for your initial wash, this shampoo cuts through grease and dirt but is pH neutral meaning that it won’t damage your paintwork. It’s all too easy to relegate the cleaning of your vehicle’s interior for another day. However, I’ve always found that keeping a spick and span front seat area in particular makes for a more pleasant driving experience. Enter Meguiar’s Quik Interior Detailer, which comes in an easy-to-dispense gun for a matt finish. The formula includes sun-blocking agents to guard against fading and cracking.
CarPlan Demon Snow Foam Car Shampoo with Gun, 2 litres £15.50 now £12.99 save 16%
This all-purpose shampoo comes with an inbuilt gun attachment that you can fix a hose to. It’s effective and easy to use and delivers a foam coating that you sponge and then hose off. It’s suitable for all exterior finishes and there’s no need to use a potentially body damaging pressure washer. At £12.99 for two litres, I think this deal offers cracking value.
