Two new option packages are being offered by Carado for the 2021 season, along with a range of new models in its van conversion low-profile and overcab ranges.

The Clever and Clever+ editions are available on all ten models the German manufacturer is offering this season.

The Clever edition includes 14 extra features such as 16-inch alloy wheels, preparation for a reversing camera, an awning, and Nebula styling on the inside with partly dirt-repelling fabric. In addition, low profiles and A-class models get a TV package, a larger fridge, a high rear brake light and a second exterior locker door, among other things. Camper vans get Traction+.

The Clever+ edition gets you all of that plus a 140bhp engine instead of the standard 120bhp, folding blackout blinds in the cab, different decals and a different exterior colour, in place of the standard white –  Campovolo for campervans and silver for low-profiles. In addition, low-profile and A-class models get a window in the habitation door and framed windows throughout.

New layouts include the V339, a 6.86m-long compact van with an island bed that when extended measures nearly 2m. Although the van comes with a divider to separate the bedroom from the front lounge, a half height wardrobe ensure that during the day the interior feels that little bit more roomy. As with all the V models this seasons, the CV339 has a graphite interior finish.

In low profiles, the 7.39m-long T459 is the first Carado model to include the fashionable parallel settee layout in its front lounge. That lounge can seat six people when the cab seats are swivelled, and includes a table that can be folded down when not in use. There is also a boot locker door under the settee nearest the door, as well as more storage under the island bed, and an illuminated mirror by the door too. As with all Carado low-profiles this season, there is an illuminated surround to the kitchen window and an illuminated bed headboard.

The A132 is Carado’s first overcab model coming in at under 6m. At 5.94m in length, it has a transverse bed in the rear which you can access more easily with a step that slides out from the wardrobe and which provides extra storage space. To increase room up front, all Carado overcabs now come with an overcab bed that can be folded up.

In campervans the 640 has had its rear configured so that each single bed can now be accessed separately, while infill cushions are included to turn them into a double.

A-classes have been upgraded with illuminated bed rests and kitchen window cladding, an extra cladding in the cab.

The Europa Edition vans, with an alternative exterior appearance and upgraded spec inside, are being continued for 2021.

Finally, for the new season all Carado vehicles come with two Isofix systems fitted as standard in the more ergonomically designed rear travel seats.
