Bilbo’s won the Best Van Converter category at our Owner Satisfaction Awards 2022.

To win this required consistently high scores across both the new and pre-owned categories, for the quality of its conversions and its sales and servicing.

This essentially sees four categories rolled into one, and Bilbo’s was the only converter to achieve a gold award standard across all four, with a fantastic overall score of 96.6%.

Taking a closer look at the results shows a strong, consistent performance from Bilbo’s across each one – in fact, they were the only brand to secure gold awards in two of the categories. 

Best Van Converter – New Manufacturer was a highly contested category, with Bilbo’s score of 94.5% only enough to achieve fourth spot. Wellhouse Leisure finished top on 98.0%, while Vantage and Murvi finished second and third, on 97.3% and 96.1% respectively.

In the Best Van Converter – Used Manufacturer category, Bilbo’s was the only brand to achieve a gold award, with another impressive score – this time, 95.4%.

Dealership (Direct New Van Sales) was another keenly contested category, with Bilbo’s securing first place with another fantastic score, this time achieving 97.7%. This was just enough to beat second placed Murvi, who received 97.2%.

Dealership (Direct Used Van Sales) saw another strong performance from Bilbo’s, as they achieved a sensational score of 98.4%. They were, again, the only brand to win a gold award. 

Bilbo’s excellent figures are put into context by the increased number of votes recorded this time out. There were 2600 responses received from readers of Practical Motorhome and members of the Camping and Caravanning Club, an increase from the 2307 last time out.

It’s been an impressive year for Bilbo’s, as they were appeared in two categories at the Practical Motorhome Awards 2022. Bilbo’s Nexa HL (lead image) was shortlisted for both best motorhome for couples and best van conversion under £50,000.
