Planning to pay a visit to the NEC Birmingham this week, for the Motorhome and Caravan Show?

There’s a lot to see – with all the action spread across 11 halls, you’ll get tired legs if you trek around trying to see everything!

Fortunately, our team can help, by bringing you details of some of the highlights.

Here are just a few of the must-see attractions at the event.

1 – VW camper vans through the ages

This is one of the best things we’ve seen at the show!

Head to hall 12 and you’ll be able to see a fantastic display of Volkswagen camper vans from throughout the ages.

The display demonstrates perfectly how the brand has changed over the years, from the 1950s onwards.

Models on show include T1 split-screens, T2 bays, T3s (T25s) and a rare, right-hand-drive T4 Westfalia. Don’t miss it!

2 – Wellhouse Ford Terrier MS-RT VR|46 Valentino Rossi

Fancy a bit of bling in your camper?

Catch the new Wellhouse Ford Terrier MS-RT VR|46 Valentino Rossi limited-edition model, which you can see at the show – despite the company recently being bought by Lunar, Wellhouse has retained its own stand (12.85) for this NEC show.

The model – inspired by the multiple MotoGP world champion – features funky styling including nappa leather, a sports steering wheel, a limited-edition number plaque and more.

3 – Swift Escape 604

Our Motorhome of the Year 2018 – the four-berth, end-washroom Swift Escape 604 compact coachbuilt – is on display at the show. Don’t miss your chance to step inside it!

The little, sub-six-metre ‘van wowed our judges during our recent awards, thanks to its clever combination of small dimensions and a really high spec level. You’ll find it on Swift’s stand, in hall 6.

You can’t miss it – just look out for the Practical Motorhome banners!

4 – Practical Motorhome subscription deals

Be sure to pay a visit to our stand (18.17a).

You’ll be able to pick up the very latest issue for a reduced price, and get yourself a fantastic subscription deal, too, including a special free gift!

Then you will never miss a copy of your favourite magazine.

5 – Roller Team Pegaso 740

Here is another new-for-2018 motorhome we don’t think you can afford to miss.

It is the Roller Team Pegaso 740 A-class, which now features a full right-hand-drive layout.

Check it out on stand 7.30.

6 – Lunar Cassini

Lunar launched its new Cassini line-up here at the show.

In keeping with the ‘Lunar’ moniker, it’s named after the NASA spacecraft that explored Saturn.

Based on the Renault Master, the range consists of three floorplans, one two-berth and two four-berths. You can see them at stand 10.21.

7 – Greenline Leisure

This Darlington-based van converter is making its debut at the show this year – pay a visit to its stand (11.156) to see what it has to offer.

It specialises in camper vans with clever touches, including footrests for the swivelling cab chairs, and a place to hang damp tea towels!

What’s more, prices start at just £34,950.

8 – Catch up on Club news

Both the Caravan and Motorhome Club and The Camping and Caravanning Club launched new escorted motorhome tours at the show.

If you’ve ever fancied visiting Sri Lanka, you can do so via The C&CC – this 30-day tour even includes a chauffeur to drive the ‘van for you!

The C&MC, meanwhile, now offers a couple of new tours to North America, and further European adventures.

Find out more at stands 9.99 (The C&CC) and 9.34 (C&MC).
