Powered by the new and improved Euro 5 Fiat Ducato engine, the range now comprises seven low-profile models, and is based on the AL-KO chassis for the first time.

 

The 724FB features the popular French bed with transverse washroom at the rear. Up front, there’s a half dinette, with two belted passenger seats, plus a facing side sofa, making this a genuine four berth ’van.

 

The show model is fitted with the Vogue option pack, which gets you an upgraded radio/CD player, with steering wheel controls, Bluetooth mobile connectivity, iPod connection, dashboard plug-in mount for a TomTom sat nav and rear-view reversing camera, as well as air con and cruise control. This brings the show price to £55,040 OTR.

 

In the accommodation area, heating and hot water is now courtesy of Alde’s system: a premium piece of kit that’s a welcome inclusion at this price point.
