VAN CONVERSIONS ARE POPULAR
right now, so Todds Leisure motorhome
dealership has just decided to stock
Devon conversions.

You can visit Todds Leisure in the village of Lostock Hall outside Preston in Lancashire to see the Devon campervans, as well as Todds’ existing stocks of Swift/ Autocruise models based on the Fiat Ducato/Peugeot Boxer medium and long wheel base chassis.

DEVON CAMPERVANS BEGAN IN THE FIFTIES

Devon is one of the oldest names in campervans, the company being established in 1956 at Sidmouth in Devon. Van conversion specialist Devon takes pride in its enviable reputation for design, quality and value for money.

Devon, like Todds, is a family-owned business and has been under its current ownership for the last 21 years. The Devon factory is now based in a modern, spacious factory complex in County Durham.

So, whether you are looking for a motorhome based on a high-class Mercedes Sprinter, an environmentally-friendly, small Volkswagen van or a Renault base, the many options customers require are now available with various interior layout options to suit your own personal requirements. Todds says that the Devon campers’ build-quality and interior finish is superb – and at a competitive price.

CAMPERVANS ARE POPULAR
Todds says that over the last few years more people have downsized from big coachbuilts and A-class motorhomes to more compact and economical van conversions. The desire to roam in and out of country towns and villages seems to appeal more than staying in one place in a bigger van – hence the trend for smaller vehicles.

Devon’s range of vehicles start with the New Renault short- wheel-based Traffic Sunrise, available with two different internal layouts and prices from £29,995 on the road. It has a fixed high-top or the option of an elevating roof.

MOONRAKER FOR VW FANS

For Volkswagen enthusiasts the original Devon Moonraker is still being produced, as it has been since the early 1970s. Today the Volkswagen Transporter, with its great reputation for reliability, quality and superb ride and handling,  culminates in the latest T5. Devon has used its years of experience to produce the Moonraker V, which has received the prestigious Caravan Motorcaravan Design and Drive Competition Award. It starts from £38,000 on the road.

EIGHT MODELS AVAILABLE

Currently Devon offer eight different models – they’re all on Todds Leisure motorhome sales website.   (For a Devon campervan brochure, click the top link  Online Brochures – New Motorhomes).
