The Citroën Holidays is making its UK debut at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC this week.

Built on a Citroën SpaceTourer by Slovenian converter Brava Mobil, the vehicle features two travel seats on a bench in the back and a side kitchen unit, all of which can be completely removed to make the rear more suitable for carrying bulky items.

The vehicle has an OTR starting price of £55,285, making it considerably cheaper than what is one of the UK’s most popular VW camper vans, the Volkswagen California, as well as the Ford Nugget.

It’s a small campervan, only coming to 4.98m-long, and as standard, it runs on a 2.0-litre, 180bhp engine with automatic transmission. Standard driving assistance features include adaptive cruise control, hill start assist, rear parking assist and a reversing camera.

In the cab you get a multi-function leather steering wheel and a DAB radio with eight speakers and Bluetooth connectivity. You also get Isofix fittings in the rear seats, and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The living area includes as standard a 16-litre fridge, a two-burner gas hob, a clip-on table that can also clip on lower down when the kitchen unit is outside, a cold water shower at the back with a separate 25-litre tank, and a removable toilet. The tailgate door has an opening window.

A double bed can be made by folding the backrest of the bench seat down and adding an extension. There is also a roof bed fitted as standard.

The Citroën Holidays is not the only campervan to be making its NEC debut, with Adria launching the first model from its new Supertwin range. The 6m-long SPB PT is based on a Mercedes Sprinter and comes with all-wheel drive.
