The new Adria Supertwin model is making its first UK appearance at the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC this week.
The all-wheel drive range comes based on the Mercedes Sprinter, a base vehicle which we consider to be in the discussion for the best van for a camper conversion, and will eventually extend to include four different models. However, the 6m-long SPB PT with a pop-top roof and a rear transverse bed is the first to appear, and should be arriving on dealer forecourts this September.
This will also be available as a high top, while a longer 700 SGX model with an inline drop-down bed both with and without a pop-top should be available later.
The Supertwin will also be the first UK campervan to feature Alde’s new diesel heater.
The campervan runs on a 2.0-litre 190bhp turbodiesel engine, with a 9-speed G-TRONIC auto gearbox fitted as standard.
Other standard features include high beam assist, LED high beam assist, hill start assist, blind spot assist, a reversing camera, an MBUX multimedia system including DAB radio, LED high performance headlamps, LED high performance headlamps, halogen indicators on both wings, a leather steering wheel, and an illuminated step below the sliding doors.
Optional extras include an All Inclusive pack featuring carpets, a gas oven, a sprung mattress, electric front-door entrance steps, and an awning with LED lighting.
A £3000 MB Luxury Pack is also available. This will get you a radiator grille in the vehicle colour, sat nav, a heated windscreen, Apple Car Play/Android auto integration, an auxiliary hot water heater, rear mud flaps, and lumbar support in the cab seats.
The launch of the Supertwin comes at a time when the results of the Owner Satisfaction Awards 2025 have been announced, with Adria named the Best Manufacturer – New Motorhomes.
