Owning a motorhome is all about relaxation and having the freedom to travel with all the comforts of home. So a stress-free buying process and well-built ‘van that doesn’t have to spend weeks sitting at a service centre when you’d rather be exploring is all-important.
Each year we run an Owner Satisfaction Survey to find out how you got on with the entire experience of buying a motorhome, whether you buy new or used. We rely on you to tell us how the dealers and manufacturers are doing, so that we can celebrate those that are doing a great job, and give feedback to the industry on what can be improved.
We want to hear from anyone who has bought a new or used caravan since 1 January 2016 and used it at least once.
The industry manufacturers and dealers take the results very seriously, using the Owner Satisfaction Awards as a litmus test of what they’re doing well and what they can do better. It allows them to evaluate and improve their products and services, which in the long run improves the experience for everyone.
We want to know about more than just your initial purchase – although that’s important, too – we want to know how your ‘van has fared since you bought it, and which dealers provide the best servicing and after sales care.
Questions in the survey range from the support that you received from the dealership through the process of choosing and buying your ‘van, to how the motorhome itself performs during your trips and whether you have any issues with the build quality or communication that you have with either the dealership or the manufacturer.
