Laika’s latest Kreos model, the Kreos H 5109, has successfully passed the industry’s standard EN 1646-1 test for insulation which requires a vehicle’s inside temperature to rise from -15℃ to +20℃ within four hours.

To pass the test, the Kreos H 5109, a luxury motorhome, was left overnight in a climate chamber set at -15℃ with doors and windows open. The following morning the ‘van was connected to the mains and the 6kW Alde motorhome heating system turned on. The +20℃ target was easily reached in under four hours.

This follows the success of the Kreos H 5109 at the Practical Motorhome Awards 2024, where it not only won the best A-class motorhome category, but was shortlisted twice more.

Features that impressed our judging panel include the acoustic insulation, providing motorhomers with a more relaxing experience on the road, as well as two comfortable fixed single beds at the rear. The high-end touches continue throughout the ‘van – take the kitchen, where two sinks can be found, with a dishwasher available as an option.
