Say hola to the Benimar Mileo 231, meet a £3000 eBay 'van, visit Devon and Jersey, and check out some VW campervans with us on The Motorhome Channel

Don’t miss our brand new TV show on The Motorhome Channel. You’ll find our channel on Sky 192 and on Freesat 402. Don’t have those channels? Don’t worry! You can also watch every episode live online on the Information TV website, so there’s no excuse for not tuning in!

This show starts with Practical Motorhome’s Editor Niall Hampton and his Benimar Mileo 231 review. This Spanish ‘van on a Fiat Ducato chassis is imported into Britain by Marquis and it’s great to know that the habitation door is on the UK nearside. In the dining area, a clever hinged table is just one of the neat touches, while the fixed rear bed is a good size and although the washroom is rather compact, it has everything you need. The same can be said for the kitchen. But, again, it is well equipped, with a dual fuel hob, a combination oven and grill, a microwave oven and a large fridge with a separate freezer. Tune in for Niall’s full review.

Then visit Devon with Practical Motorhome’s Claudia Dowell. She’s stumbled across a Talbot Highwayman at Stowford Farm Meadows and chats to its owners, John and Jackie Wade, who bought it on eBay. It’s their first ‘van and to date ownership has been an enjoyable learning curve. It has been a lot of work, but they have no regrets. Watch our TV show to hear their story, learn from their experiences and take a look around their £3000 motorhome.

We then stay at Stowford Farm Meadows and enjoy time at Practical Motorhome’s recent Reader Rally, Group Editor Alastair Clements our guide. From football to ferret racing and much more, washed down with a cream tea and burgers, a great weekend was had by all.

Next, we visit Jersey, in the Channel Islands. Following a tour of the island in the last episode of our TV show, this time Practical Motorhome’s Kate Taylor takes us round the very pretty Daisy Cottage Campsite and Retreat in St Ouen, where she’s pitched her Benimar motorhome, one of just three sites on Jersey where ‘vans can stay. She meets the site’s owner and checks out the facilities – tune in and see it for yourself.

Finally, it’s back to Stowford Farm Meadows and the on-site dealership. Practical Motorhome’s Test Editor Mike Le Caplain is looking at the range of Volkswagen T5 campervan conversions on sale here. Stowford’s Andrew Noall takes us round the range and points out how the conversions have changed over the years.

Our TV shows are joint productions between the Practical Motorhome editorial team and Information TV.
