PaulCamper claims to be the largest online platform for motorhome and campervan sharing in Europe.

Customers can rent a campervan from £70 a night, with all rentals coming with comprehensive insurance and AA roadside assistance.

Motorhome and campervan owners can also list their vehicles on the site.

Founder Dirk Fehse says he founded the site in 2013, after his return from Australia, as a way of making motorcaravanning more accessible for those who could not afford to buy a motorhome, and to reduce running costs for those who could.

He said, “Motorhomes and campervans can be expensive to maintain, coupled with the fact they are often used for just a few weeks a year, spending the rest of the time in the owner’s garage. It is for this reason I hope UK owners will feel confident in our established offering and choose to rent their campers with us.”

Paul and Mel Nash from Somerset are already using their site to rent out their two campervans Bluebell and Bertie, which they have bought to extend their holiday cottage business.

They said, “It’s imperative anyone renting Bluebell or Bertie has a professional, quick and hassle-free experience and we’re confident PaulCamper’s European experience combined with their first-class customer service will offer this to both us and our potential guests.”

The current site is heavily weighted towards campervans, but some low-profiles and overcabs are available.
