TomTom satnav owners who also happen to be fans of The Simpsons can now enjoy driving directions from two more of its characters, Marge Simpson and Montgomery ‘Monty’ Burns.

Both voices are provided by the programme’s actors and join Homer Simpson, which is the most downloaded custom satnav voice of all time, according to TomTom.

The voices are available both for TomTom’s iPhone app and its dedicated in-car devices, for £3.49 or £7.95, respectively.

TomTom already offers a wide array of celebrity and character voices for its devices, ranging from Roger Moore’s James Bond to Yosemite Sam.

Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob Squarepants are also available, although they’re perhaps not ideal for motorists whose patience is already stretched to breaking point by the very act of driving itself.
