VANGO HAS BEEN really focusing on developing its driveway campervan awning range for the 2021 season.
Its Sport range – made of lightweight Sentinel Sport fabric with enhanced UV resistance – has been expanded, with the introduction of the Agora Air VW, designed for VW vans and conversions. This comes with a flat entranceway, mesh windows, and doors on either side of its connecting tunnel, which can be rolled away to make it freestanding.
The popular Galli awning, made of lightweight Sentinel Active fabric, can hold two bedroom inners, has a front canopy, and is now available in a poled version, Galli Low.
Galli is also available in poly cotton – perfect for Continental use – as is the small Kela, both known respectively as the Galli Air TC Low and Kela Air TC.
It’s in the details
In celebration of the ten-year anniversary of AirBeam, Vango is offering customers a small preview into the design process behind their advances in pioneering design and Airbeam® S.I Pro technology. A new video, created by the in-house team, transitions between 3D computer generated models and real-life imagery, to portray how the details are still as important to the brand after 55 years of design evolution. The one-minute preview offers an opportunity for designers and outdoor enthusiasts to understand the innovation and attention to detail which Vango strives for, to improve home from home comfort and experience in every product.

Vango: A quick history
Vango was established in the west of Scotland in 1966 (its name is a rearrangement of ‘Govan’, a suburb of Glasgow). The company remains based at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands in its headquarters at Port Glasgow.
Along with driveaway, motorhome and caravan awnings, the firm makes tents and other camping equipment for everyone from families to extreme mountaineers. It also works with the international charity Shelterbox to provide emergency relief in disaster zones.
