THE BROADWAY EL is the major news this season, as Auto-Sleepers celebrates its 60h anniversary.

The 6.6m-long vehicle is based on the Peugeot Boxer, but has been made some 3″ wider than standard to enhance the functionality of the spacious interior and showcase the indulgently comfortable rear lounge. This features extra corner headrests, a choice of two tables and a huge variety of lighting.

There’s also a central washroom, which has a partition that swings over to create a large shower, while also retaining excellent storage.

Better still, the cab features a swivelling passenger seat, perfect for early risers, and comes fitted with a practical extension that you can fold down to create a second little lounge, or even an office, up front. You could even use it to help extend the kitchen workspace.

To celebrate its anniversary further, the Cotswolds-based company is also bringing out limited editions of two of its most popular Peugeot Boxer-based low-profile models: the two-berth Nuevo EK, with parallel settees, and the Nuevo ES, which dispenses with one of the settees to provide two extra forward-facing travel seats and has an optional overcab double bed.

As standard, both of the company’s limited edition models are on a 160bhp Peugeot Boxer chassis or a Fiat Ducato with nine-speed automatic transmission.

You also get special 60th anniversary graphics on the outside of the vehicle and on the kitchen splash backs, plus exclusive upholstery throughout the interior, and a silver GRP shower tray. Lithium batteries are being fitted in all models, including the 60th anniversary editions, in place of standard batteries.

Dometic Seitz blinds are now a feature in all Auto-Sleepers van conversions, while Remis blinds are replacing the silver screens that were a feature on the Mercedes-based coach built range.

Auto-Sleepers are sold nationwide through sister company Marquis Leisure and an independent dealer network.
