[tl:gallery index=0 size=113×139]Liz Paterson is art editor of Practical Motorhome. She’s the one who designs the magazine and chooses which pictures we publish. She has toured all over the UK and mainland Europe in motorhomes down the years, overseeing our photoshoots. This is her new blog series ‘Picture of the Week,’ in which she selects a striking image from our picture library archive.

Why tour here?
Our Rob Ganley said:
“The prettiest stretch of road in the entire Peak District is from the top of Winnat’s Pass down to Hathersage. The winding route down through the limestone gorge of the Pass is narrow in parts, but was no problem for the 3.0-litre, Ducato-based Bessacarr, and the road is too short to cause significant brake fade. Driving it back up the other way was a struggle, though – plenty of standing hill starts hand the front wheels scrabbling for grip on the road surface.”
