As the editor of Practical Motorhome, I get to see and test a lot of motorhome and campervan products. By their very nature, motorhomes offer a lot of storage opportunities, so it’s all too easy to pack my ‘van to the rafters with those bits of kit – some of which are useful, but others less so.
And during the Prime Big Deal Days event – which Amazon is running exclusively for its Prime Members this week – there are plenty of motorhoming accessories to choose from. But which are worth your money, and which should you leave on the digital shelf? I’ve trawled through what’s available to bring you the five products I think every motorhomer should consider this Prime Big Deal Days event.

Foldable Hanging Bin was £15.99 now £13.49 (save 16%)
I have one of these bins myself and it is excellent in the confines of a motorhome, even if your ‘van already has a door-mounted example – this one can be fitted in the kitchen so it’s right where you need it when preparing food. It simply sits over the door of one of your lockers (or you can stick it on a wall via the supplied adhesive hook) and it’s there, ready and waiting for when you’re cooking. There’s a handy inbuilt scraper for helping you to clear plates and other rubbish, and the whole thing can be collapsed inwards when you’re finished with it, so it can be easily stowed away in a locker.
TomTom Campervan and Caravan Sat Nav GO Camper Max
I’m a big fan of motorhome-specific sat-navs – they allow you to input your vehicle’s/outfit’s dimensions, and the unit will take these into account when calculating your route. That should (hopefully) help you avoid low bridges, tight turns and more, making your journey that much less stressful.
That’s why this Campervan and Caravan Sat Nav from TomTom caught my eye. Not only does it offer tailored guidance on worldwide mapping, it also has a handy database of campsites, speed camera alerts, a feature that will help you avoid low-emission zones and much more. The large, seven-inch screen should mean that the maps are easy to view, and this is the cheapest price for the unit so far this year.
WADEO 2026 New Portable Shower was £59.99 now £50.99 (save 15%)
As the owner of a big, boisterous golden retriever who loves nothing more than rolling in mud, it’s really important for me to have a way to keep him clean when I’m away on tour. That’s why this portable shower unit looks like such a great product. Simply fill the bucket with water of the required temperature, and switch on the pump: the unit features a variety of spray modes, and the clear display on the top allows you to keep an eye on both the temperature and the power level of the built-in 13000mAh battery. It’s rechargeable, and the bucket collapses for easy storage when you’re done. I like it so much that I’ve bought one!
Two-way spirit level was £6.99 now £4.99 (save 29%)
Okay, so it’s a small item compared to some of the others on this list, but I think a good spirit level is something that every motorhome should have. Stick it on an easy-to-view surface and it will make levelling your motorhome so much easier – no more having to work out if the bed is flat enough or if the shower water is going to flow away properly. It’s just 5.5cm x 4cm, so won’t take up too much space, yet is easy to read when you’re busy levelling your motorhome. It can be permanently mounted via screws, but you could stick it with tape if you would like to move it in future.
Blue Motorhome & Caravan Toilet Chemical Fluid 1L was £15.95 now £13.24 (save 17%)
Choosing a good motorhome toilet fluid is important: buy a non-effective one and you risk nasty niffs in your ‘van, particularly during the warmth of the summer months. This toilet chemical is on sale during this Prime Big Deal Days event, and I can vouch for its efficacy – I bought some during the summer of 2025 and it has been excellent. It’s highly concentrated, so contains 40 doses in its compact, one-litre bottle, and the inbuilt dosing chamber means that it’s easy to measure out. It’s formaldehyde-free, so you should be able to use it at sites across Europe, and the cherry smell is pleasant, too.
