The team behind premium manufacturer IH Motorhomes is the talk of the Motorhome and Caravan Show once again, but this year not for one of its boutique-styled van conversions – instead, it’s turned heads with its premium IH Monopod touring caravan.
The Monopod, on show at IH’s stand (Hall 8, stand 33) is the first caravan IH Motorhomes has ever built, and is literally a ‘green’ caravan: it’s finished in a stunning metallic green finish. The curved, bullet-shaped body is made possible by the use of a monocoque GRP mould.
IH Motorhomes owner, Ian Hartley, is confident that his company’s first caravan can succeed: “The market is growing and welcoming a wider range of people with different tastes and expectations and manufacturers are taking the opportunity to be a little more adventurous with their designs.”
