We kick off our latest episode with a review of the Chausson Flash 530. And sneaking in at just under 6m long, this Ford Transit-based model is new for the 2017 season.

Join us inside where the sociable lounge has a nearside L-shaped sofa and a second sofa on the offside. This area can be made up into a double bed, while another double drops down above it, at the touch of a button.

The kitchen is compact, while the full-width end-washroom is a very stylish affair – and large, too, considering the motorhome’s size.

This Chausson also features clever details such as the fold-down shelves in the external storage compartment, plus the folding pedestal table in the lounge which lowers electronically when making up the lower double bed. Other kit includes alloy wheels and a colour reversing camera.

See what else you’ll get for around £45,000 in this four-berth ’van this week on Practical Motorhome TV.

Tune in and you’ll also get some more technical advice from our workshop expert Diamond Dave. This week he’s talking punctures.

He explains how to change a tyre on your motorhome in safety, and advises that when packing your ’van you always leave your toolkit in an accessible place – and know where your spare wheel is, too!

What’s next?

Join us after the break in Kent, as we see what Broadhembury Caravan and Camping Park has to offer. This former finalist in our Top 100 Sites Guide is open all year, can accommodate motorhomes of all sizes, including RVs, and is also dog friendly. See it in this week’s show.

Then we review our second Continental ’van of the show, but this time it is from Germany. And you won’t want to miss it – this Hymer A-class really is quite something.

But it’s been on a diet, so everyone can drive this fully winterised B-Class DynamicLine, thanks to its MTPLM of 3500kg.

This 588 model is a four-berth with four travel seats, with twin single beds and a drop-down double bed over the front lounge. The kitchen has a UK-friendly oven and grill, opposite which you’ll find an elegant washroom.

That luxurious rear bedroom’s combination of natural and ambient lighting lends it a sophisticated air, and as well as providing two good-sized beds, there’s a lot of storage space, too. Don’t miss it this week on Practical Motorhome TV.
