Adria’s Sun Living sub-brand is still fairly young, launching for the 2018 season as a good-value line-up, with the aim of offering the Slovenian manufacturer’s build quality at a lower price tag and with funkier styling.

Since then, the brand has simply gone from strength to strength, and today, it represents a real alternative to other entry-level products.

So it’s unsurprising that Adria has chosen not to mess with success, and takes its Sun Living portfolio into the 2020 season in a relatively unchanged state. There continue to be 10 models across the three ranges, with one floorplan change in the S Series and small tweaks across the line-ups.

CONVERSIONS, CROSSOVERS

For the new season, Sun Living offers a total of 10 models, including van conversions, crossovers (Adria’s take on spacious coachbuilts) and A-class. All are based on the Fiat Ducato and have Truma heating.

As with Adria’s regular models, this year the base vehicle will get Fiat’s new Euro 6d-TEMP engines, offering AdBlue technology and more power. A nine-speed automatic option is available on 160bhp units.

In the van range, there are still two models: the V60SP (transverse rear bed) and the V635SL (fixed rear singles). Prices range from £43,995 to £45,995.

The S Series crossover coachbuilts have six different models this year, including the compact S60SP, with transverse rear bed, and the island-bed S70SC; a drop-down bed at the front is also an option on some models. Newly redesigned is the S70SP, also with transverse rear bed; this year, it has a washroom with a separate shower.

This model may only be 6.9m long, but it also has five travel seats and a total of five berths, and there’s a generous garage.

Other changes to the S Series are new fabrics and exterior graphics, revamped lighting and redesigned garages. The S70SP model will cost £50,995; S Series models range from £46,995 to £52,995.

Two overcabs are available for 2020: the transverse-bed A75DP (£49,995) and the double-dinette, family-friendly A70DK (£48,995). Small tweaks include new graphics and the option of a silver cab.

OUR PICK: SUN LIVING S70SP

We’ve always liked this family-friendly model, which has previously won our Motorhome of the Year Award for Best Innovation for its washroom; and now it’s even better, thanks to the separate shower.
