Swift has been making leisure vehicles since 1964, and created the legendary Swift Kon-Tiki in 1985, its first foray into the motorhome market.

That inaugural vehicle was a huge success, not just in the UK, but also abroad in countries like Denmark and Sweden. Typically, back then, they’d be seen with a Mercedes or Fiat cab.

Swift, who appear in our best motorhome manufacturer guide, has always innovated in the sector, pioneering wind-testing and embracing new technologies like CAD (Computer-Aided design).

These days, Swift builds a wide-range of campervans and motorhomes to suit all needs.

Size-wise, at one end of the scale is the superb Swift Monza four-berth campervan, based on the award-winning Ford Transit. This sleek machine features a pop-top roof and can sleep up to four, and carry five in belted seats. Its interior is exquisitely furnished, and prices start at £67,940.

Meanwhile the iconic Kon-Tiki is still in the range – a luxurious flagship motorhome that can sleep four to six people. Its interiors are decidedly lavish with every home comfort you could need, from well-appointed kitchens to stylish washrooms. One example is the Swift Kon-Tiki 764, which we looked at in 2022.

Between these two sensational ranges, there are seven other collections of campers and motorhomes filling every specification and budget gap in the market. Check out the Swift website to see which one is perfect for you.
