Since 1986, Coachman has been renowned for its top-class tourers, producing some of the best caravans. So, when it decided to move into the motorhome sector, it instantly created some of the finest ‘vans on the market.

The brand-new Travel Master range features legendary Mercedes cabs, engines and gearboxes and the brilliant AL-KO chassis – a combination that delivers a world-class driving experience. When you combine those with Coachman’s clever and opulent interiors, you have a motorhome that really takes some beating.

Initially, there are two four-berth motorhomes in the range. This includes the 545, which is a rear island-bed motorhome, and the 565 with rear twin singles. The rear bedrooms are separated from the lounge area by a mid-washroom layout, with independent shower room and toilet/ basin room – this delivers excellent privacy and a good acoustic barrier for light sleepers. In the spacious lounge area, with its parallel sofas, is an electrically-operated, drop-down bed for guests or (excited) kids.

The torquey 170bhp engine comes with a smooth nine-speed auto gearbox, and, on the road, the driver and ‘navigator’ enjoy the comfort of premium, rotating seats with supportive bolstering and armrests.

As well as pre-installed bike racks, a 140-Watt solar panel, remote-controlled locking (including the habitation door) and tinted, double-glazed windows, the Travel Masters also feature a large, rear garage with two access doors, ideal if you’re kitting out your motorhome with accessories.
