Dog friendly caravan parks
Meantime, if you’re looking for a dog friendly caravan park in the UK, you’ll be pleased to know there are plenty to choose from. In fact, in our Top 100 sites guide, 98 of the parks listed are pet friendly. But while some places tolerate dogs, we wanted to highlight those sites that offer your pooches a truly warm welcome with facilities to match. So, whether it’s dog walks or pet washing facilities, such as dog showers and washrooms, we’ve got it covered.

Extending over 12 acres, half of which is dedicated to its dog walk and recreation area, Tretham Mill on the Roseland Peninsula is perfect for walkers hoping to follow the South West Coast Path. The dog walk and nature meadow are popular with pets and owners alike.

There’s a dog exercise area and you can wash muddy paws in the Boot, Bike and Dog wash (a cold water tap outside the facilities).

Dogs are welcome on site and there is a dog shower room. The surrounding area has plenty of dog-friendly walks, several of which lead to dog-friendly pubs.
Red Kite Touring Park, Wales
Dogs will love the natural feel to Red Kite, which has coarse fishing available in the largest of its nature ponds, and there are wildflower areas and lawns alongside the gravel hardstanding pitches.
