Comfortable, roomy and refined overcab four-berth that has good facilities.
Lounge; absence of noise from habitation area when driving
Overcab ladder blocks access to washroom
The 625 is an end-lounge overcab with a good washroom – with a separate shower cubicle – and a well-proportioned kitchen.
On entering the ’van, the first thing you see is that spacious lounge; it’s huge, with big windows – fantastic for evenings.
I was impressed with the quality of all the fixtures and fittings; the positive-catch lockers felt sturdy, and there was no noise from the accommodation area when we were on the road. The sofas and the rear bed are extremely comfortable.
As in the 725G, the overcab bed is spacious, with 72cm (2’4”) of headroom; our only niggle was that the ladder blocks the washroom door at night. Storage throughout the ’van is excellent, so you can enjoy that whopping 750kg payload; there’s external access to the nearside locker.
On the road, it was an easy and comfortable drive; the 115bhp engine did require some management of the gears on inclines, though.
Our vehicle was fitted with the £499 Lux pack (with all the kit listed in the Tribute 725-G review. We thought this worth the extra outlay.
