It’s hard to fault the specification: mudguards, a luggage rack and a kickstand are fitted, and there are six gears. The Transition handles very well, with far less flex from the front of the bike than on similar models. However, the weight of the Apollo hinders getting up to speed, and the seatpost won’t extend far enough for tall riders. The Apollo isn’t the most compact bike when folded up, either. You’ll initially find it fiddly to secure the two halves of the frame with the sprung press-lock lever, too.
