Visit next week’s Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC Birmingham and we’re delighted to say you’ll still see plenty of new models, even this late in the season.

This show, which runs from 21 to 26 February, takes over five halls at the NEC and many major manufacturers and dealers are attending, so whatever size and style of motorhome interests you, there’s sure to be lots to check out.

We’re looking forward to seeing the new-season tweaks made to the Auto-Trail Frontier Scout. Its twin-lounge layout is sure to appeal to British buyers, while its kit list includes a roof-mounted awning and a drawer fridge.

Is now the time?

Tribute, meanwhile, will be showing off its new T-726. This is the second six-berth to join the range and features an overcab double bed and a pair of bunks at the back. Can it deliver on its promise of family-focused touring in a coachbuilt for less?

Sticking with Trigano, one of the group’s newest acquisitions, Slovenian brand Adria, will be looking to stand out with one of its show stars.

We’re talking about the new tag-axle Adria Sonic Supreme 810 SC with its eye-catching silver exterior. Its rear island bed might be very inviting if your feet are weary by then, plus it has a central washroom that bucks a trend by not including a central washbasin.

And if you’re thinking of buying a new Swift motorhome, this might be the time to do it! The Hull manufacturer has announced price increases which will be introduced right after the show, so to save thousands, this may be the time to act.

A christening and an anniversary

Lunar will be displaying its new Roadstar coachbuilts. You’re probably thinking that these aren’t actually new, but, wait…

These were launched as two Roadstars and one Telstar at last October’s show at the NEC Birmingham, but the two-berth Telstar has now been rechristened the Roadstar EL, so it’s more in keeping with the rest of the range.

Meanwhile, over on the Rapido stand in hall three, it’s time to join in the celebrations! Two 55th anniversary models will be on show, the 696FF and the 8096dF. Also on show will be the 604FF with its large L-shaped kitchen.

And over on Roller Team‘s stand, there’s a new addition to the Zefiro range with the 685. It features five belted travel seats, making it great for families.

Brush up on your skills

As ever, you can expect a calendar of celebrity appearances across the six days of the show, including Ben Fogle, Kate Humble, and The Camping and Caravanning Club’s very own Julia Bradbury.

There are lots of other activities to enjoy, too. You might like to watch the dog agility or get culinary inspiration!

And if you’re new to motorcaravanning or want to polish your skills, The Caravan Club is running motorhome manoeuvring classes. Take your driving licence and visit the club’s stand to book your 20-minute session.

So if you’re going, have fun!
