Weinsberg increases insulation on models

The overcab models from Knaus’s budget brand now come with a 52mm thick XPS floor, compared with 42mm last season, as well as a hail-resistant GRP roof. The 600DKG model also comes with gas bottles that sit side by side for easier access. Inside, CaraHome’s now feature handle-free locker doors for a more modern-looking finish.

The low-profile CaraSuite models and the A-class CaraCore range also benefit from a new gas bottle locker with bottles side by side. CaraCores now come with Aguti Premium seats, with integrated seatbelts and many adjustments, and Aguti Exclusive seats, with air cushioning and heating, as optional extras. The bed in the Cara Suite 650MF model, meanwhile, has been lowered to make it easier to get into.

The CaraCompact range now comes with central locking for the garage door as an optional extra.

All models in the Carabus van conversion range come with new Tiberino furniture and new aluminium bed frames with wider slats. On the outside you have a choice of five different greys for an external colour, in addition to white and metallic black. Other optional extras include electric soft-closing doors, a grey water tank with an electric drain valve and camera monitoring, and – for those models without a pop-up roof – a solar panel.

You can also opt for en Easyspace extension to the roof to give more headroom and unobstructed access to the cab, and larger framed windows on the rear doors.

The 650 MEG Outlaw model can come with air conditioning and a midi Heki as an optional extra. All air conditioning units are also available with an anthracite hood to better match the exterior van colour.

Weinsberg prices have gone up by anything up to 4%, although some models have barely increased in price at all. Van conversions start at £48,710, overcabs at £55,260, low-profiles at £58,880 and A-classes at £67,570.
