Be sure to cast your vote and recognise the efforts of your top campsite

We recently announced our 2014 winners and you voted Whitefield Forest Touring Park number one in the UK. With a motorhome service point, a small shop, heated washrooms and roomy pitches, this woodland campsite near Ryde on the Isle of Wight won praise from visitors who voted having stayed there in motorhomes, tents and caravans, as well as scoring well with our site reviews team.

Also in our Top 100 Sites Guide 2014, you told us which campsites you think are the UK’s best for motorhomes. You voted South Lytchett Manor Caravan and Camping Park near Poole in Dorset as the top site in the UK for motorhomes, this site also scooping the award for the best in Dorset.

Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park in the pretty Somerset countryside was rated as the second best site in the country for motorhomes, the 2014 survey’s overall winner, Whitefield Forest Touring Park, also rated the third best campsite for motorhomes in the UK.

Across the border in Scotland and a 30- or 40-minute drive from Dumfries you’ll find Kippford Holiday Park, with the rarity of an on-site ancient bluebell woodland. In our 2014 guide, you voted this the best campsite in Scotland and it also scored well in the top sites for motorhomes list, sitting at number four.

If you’re heading for a motorhome holiday in Wales, don’t forget The Plassey Leisure Park near Wrexham, voted the number one campsite in Wales by you in our 2014 Top 100 Sites Guide. And as it was also rated the sixth best site in the UK for motorhomes, it could be a great place to pitch your ‘van.

So, do you agree with the results of our latest survey? If not, or if you want to support your favourite campsite and make sure it gets covered in glory again next year, make sure you vote! It won’t take long and as well as giving recognition to the best sites for all their hard work, you’ll be helping fellow motorcaravanners get the best from their tours by directing them to top rated campsites in the UK.

Remember, voting is open now and you have until 31 October 2014 to cast your vote. Simply click here to vote. And if you vote you will be entered into a prize draw to win an iPad, the perfect touring accessory. So, what are you waiting for?
