Bailey have launched their impressive new Transit-based campervan at the Motorhome and Caravan Show 2023. The Endeavour is sure to get van-fans excited, since it’s the company’s first panel van conversion.

The range offers a 2 berth and 4 berth with differing layouts, both based on a 3.5 tonne Ford Transit. The 2 berth Bailey Endeavour B62 model offers a customisable rear lounge area which can be adapted into 2 singles or 1 double bed.

The design also includes a central washroom and kitchen.

In the B64, a front lounge converts into 2 beds while a pop-top accommodates a double. The B64 layout features a rear kitchen and washroom and a central lounge area with 2 functional travelling seats.

Each features a fully specified cab, complete with a 12” infotainment system, great for clear navigation, with cruise control and air conditioning.

The chrome blue Ford Transit base provides a solidly made body with dimensions of 5.9m length, 2.4 width and 2.8m height. This offers 1.9m of internal headroom – or 6”5’ – so tall travellers will be happy. With a high performance 2 litre engine that offers 155bhp, the 6-speed automatic transmission makes for a smooth journey every time.

The Endeavour is also fitted with a 100-watt solar panel from Truma, which allows you to function off-grid. The stunning kitchen area features a Thetford 90 litre refrigerator, a combination oven-grill and a 3-ring gas hob.

The comfortable interior is accented with marble-effect surfaces and dark panelling, while the fixtures and appliances are dark and unobtrusive.

Bailey also debuted the Endeavour EV, a concept vehicle signifying the company’s sustainable future.

Although the concept vehicle is not currently destined for production, the Ford E-Transit conversion was “designed with sustainability in mind”, in partnership with Ford Pro.
