THE 2014 HOLIDAY season is here and Practical Motorhome is ready to take you on tour, show you a range of exciting and varied ‘vans, and give you all the expert advice you could need in our TV programmes on The Motorhome Channel.

You can catch our TV show on Sky 192 and Freesat 402. However, if you don’t have access to these channels, worry not, you can watch every episode live online – and many of our previous episodes are on our YouTube channel, too, meaning you can see the show 24/7!

In the latest episode of our Motorhome Channel TV show, Practical Motorhome’s very own Bryony Symes makes her TV debut. She explores the stunning coastal stretches, beautiful vistas and wooded combes of lovely North Devon in an Auto-Sleeper high top van conversion. And while enjoying her motorhome holiday in Devon, Bryony also pays a visit to two scenic campsites in the region that you might like to consider on your next tour. She drops in on Stowford Farm Meadows and Newberry Valley Touring & Camping Park, both of which are near Combe Martin on the North Devon coast – tune in to see what she makes of them.

Of course, as ever, we also have an expert motorhome review and in this episode, we hand over to Practical Motorhome’s experienced Editor Niall Hampton who delivers his definitive verdict on the Auto-Sleeper Kemerton XL. Tune in to our TV show on Sky 192 and Freesat 402 to discover what Niall thinks of this upmarket, two-berth van conversion based on a Peugeot Boxer, that features boutique styling and an end washroom with a flip-up, space saving sink – it is a great option for long-legged drivers.

That’s not all. Also in our TV show, Practical Motorhome’s Gentleman Jack Bancroft takes a look inside a 2013 Adria Matrix Axess low profile coachbuilt ‘van, and chats to its owners about its strengths and shortcomings as a motorhome. Make your own mind up after watching his review.

For something rather different, how about a demountable motorhome? Tune in and see Andy Harris meet the owner behind a self-built, demountable motorhome. How does it work? It just sits on the back of a pick-up truck in transit, then demounts onto jacks on site. Easy! Get the full story in our TV show.

Andy also casts his expert eye over a selection of versatile DIY accessories that are perfect for a great many bonding, sealing and repairing tasks on your motorhome.

Our TV shows are produced by the Practical Motorhome magazine team in conjunction with Information TV, and shown on The Motorhome Channel. This programme will be broadcast several times across a two-week period – Monday 26 May 2014 to Sunday 8 June 2014 – at these times on these days:

  • Monday at 8.30pm
  • Wednesday at 5.30pm
  • Thursday at 6am
  • Saturday at 11am
  • Sunday at 11am

So don’t forget to tune in on The Motorhome Channel and we hope you enjoy the show – happy touring!
