The Caravan and Motorhome Club (CAMC) has announced it will be opening a pop-up site for the International Canoe Federation (ICF) Canoe Slalom World Championships (19th-24th September).

The ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships sees around 300 of the world’s leading athletes head to Lee Valley White Water Centre to compete.

The pop-up site will not only be within walking distance of the event, but will also double up as a base with plenty to do in the vicinity, something that the best motorhome sites always provide.

For instance, 15 minutes away is Waltham Cross station, and from there, central London is only a 30-minute train trip, allowing you to explore the capital as well as enjoy the World Championships and Lee Valley Regional Park.

Pitch prices start from £48 per night, with the pop-up site providing onsite showers, fresh water, waste disposal, toilets and electric hook up.

As well as getting to watch the competition, visitors to the World Championships can expect to enjoy live music, food and drink. There will also be entertainment for children, ensuring there’s something for the whole family.

It’s also not the only pop-up site the CAMC is opening, with a temporary site running for the October NEC Show too.
