Q: We’ve just been talking to a signwriter who says that you may be able to help with the design of the original graphics on our Herald Emblem. We’ve just bought ‘her’ and she has been resprayed and looks like new but is bare. All I can find are pictures of Herald coachbuilts. Incidentally the mileage says 48,000 in 17 years. Could this be correct?
Eddie and Joy V, Thorney

A: General 2Recently I’ve been asked this type of question more often, presumably because the first generation of individually decorated motorcaravans are getting to the age when they’ll require major attention to their coachwork. As Eddie and Joy live near me, I popped over with a couple of big prints. It’s impossible to say whether the mileage is genuine but having seen the motorhome, my gut feeling is that she’s a ‘Duesy’, that is, excellent!
