OCCUPYING A BEAUTIFUL spot on the rugged Lizard peninsula, this small family-run holiday park makes an ideal getaway for families, couples and friends.

The touring area feels much more like a garden, with pitches separated by trees and shrubs. All have 16A electric hook-up and a dedicated water connection, while the eight fully serviced pitches also have grey-water drainage.

The site is set in nine acres of gorgeous Lizard countryside, in Cornwall’s AONB. There is a village pub close by and the beaches of Kennack Sands are a 1km walk through woodland. Here, you can join the South West Coast Path and explore from above the peninsula’s numerous small coves with sandy beaches, and England’s most southerly tip, Lizard Point.

The excellent play area for the children, including a dedicated zone for under-sixes and an open area for ball games, plus a small shop for essentials at reception.

Social distancing measures are in place, as are hand-sanitising stations and new signage. Nick and Kell Whittle of Silver Sands report excellent feedback on TripAdvisor, with customers praising the site and the safety measures that have been established.
