THE WEST YORKSHIRE van converter is looking forward to a bumper year in 2021, and at the moment, expects to see its complete production run pre-sold to dealers by the end of the year, with its network of 10 dealerships already reporting strong customer pre-orders.

That production run includes WildAx’s most recently launched vehicles, such as the Mercedes-based Elara – which, unusually for a van conversion, has the option of an island bed – and the Triton, the company’s first-ever conversion of a Ford transit Custom.

Such a clean sweep should then leave the way open for adding a few more special options to some of the firm’s models in time for the start of spring. The company, which is owned by Rapido, is also currently in the process of building a new, bigger factory.
