SURREY-BASED BILBO’S has been producing campervans since 1977 and is now the largest privately-owned VW T6 converter in the UK.

The most recent addition to its range is the Nexa+, a development of its existing and highly popular rear raising roof Nexa model that manages to incorporate an electric flushing fixed toilet behind the rear kitchen that can be emptied via an internal access door. Such an arrangement is already available on Bilbo’s Lezan model, but the Nexa+ comes with a raising roof. The van is based on the short wheelbase T6, so the addition of a toilet shouldn’t affect how easy it is to park.

Other models in the range include the modular Space model and the Celex, Bilbo’s best-selling model, with a conventional rear seat and side kitchen.
