Verdict
The Dynamic looks a sleeker, more rounded product than some of the vehicles currently offered by smaller companies focused on this market – it’s very classy inside, too. It’s certainly not cheap, but it has everything that you could possibly need – bar some small omissions, such as cab blinds.
You should certainly, however, be able to head off properly equipped for the adventure.

Motorhome luxury, for some, means plush interiors, sizeable water tanks and Alde heating.
But for many motorsports and outdoor-event fans, it means a ‘van that will take them off-grid in comfort.
Specialist manufacturers have catered for this market for years. Now a much larger firm, Swift, is putting its toe in this particular water.
Swift has a connection to motorsports: founder Peter Smith and son Guy are rally and racing drivers, and the firm sponsors the Swift Rally Team of Matt Edwards and Darren Garrod, winners of the 2018 British Rallying Championship.
Now Swift has expanded its luxurious Kon-tiki range with the Dynamic 675, for the moment only available at Brownhills. It’s almost (but not quite) a dealer special.

Living
The interior is much more like the standard Kon-tiki. But, as you might expect in a ‘van designed for sporting events, the 675 is heavy on electrical connections, with nine mains sockets in here.
Our test model featured a full Pullman-style front dinette, with six travel seats, and a sofa on the nearside.
A Lounge version with a half-dinette (four travel seats) is also available.
Seats are decked out in sporty Dynamic branding, and you get a 12V socket and two USB sockets under the forward-facing dinette seat. Two speakers in the ceiling leading up to the overcab bed should provide all the sound you need.
Kitchen
More branding is included on the kitchen splash back, which frames a large, well-lit workspace. Underneath is a peninsula cupboard. The four-burner dual-fuel hob sits on top of a Dometic oven with a separate grill.
Across the aisle, you get a Dometic fridge that opens both ways, and a microwave on top. The cupboard here is a useful location for any TV, too.
Washroom
There is a step up (with two LED floodlights) to the central washroom, which can be partitioned on both sides. There are no windows, just a roof light. The shower is medium-sized, with one drain hole and a plastic swivel door. But the wardrobe here is large, and opposite are two cupboards and a mirror.
Beds
The rear fixed beds can make a double, with four spotlights and a second TV station here. At the very back are two more USB sockets and another mains socket.
The overcab bed impressed us. A heavy-duty zippable cloth partition should keep out the light, and you get a choice of lighting colour, two USBs and a roof light. The third double, made from the dinette, requires three infill cushions.
We were surprised to find no cab blinds – you have to make do with suction pads.
Storage
Storage is impressive with that large cupboard and a wardrobe with removable shelving and hanging rails under each bed.
