The Dirt Devil comes with a rotating brush for removing pet hair, as well as a tool for nooks. In our performance test, it easily disposed of the flour and sugar, but the corn flakes were a problem. Even with the rotating brush breaking them up first, the unit clogged quickly and we had to pull it apart to clear the blockage. Emptying the cleaner was also fiddly. Removing the front and the filter was simple, but particles got stuck inside the cleaner and we had to shake it to get them out. It’s heavy compared to other handheld cleaners, too.
