Verdict
The Coral is a great ‘van in many ways; it’s well made and stylish, but its interior design can’t touch that of the rivals such as the TEC Freetec 708Ti.
Pros
Side-facing dinette seat

Cons

Functional-looking kitchen.
Living
There’s a front-end half dinette and amidships kitchen and washroom. The Adria’s curvy lines help increase the sense of space as you walk through the ‘van towards the rear. Available headroom stands at around two metres.
The Adria includes a side-facing single seat, which will accommodate an extra diner to the half dinette. Swivel cab seats and an extendable-table arrangement allows all diners to easily reach their place setting. The Adria’s is really clever: simply extend the table and slot in the 40cm-long panel which otherwise stores in a bracket below; there’s also a handy storage tray beneath the table, accessible when the top is extended.
There are clips to keep the seat cushions in place while on the road, but it’s tricky to locate the furthest fixings, particularly when the table is in place.
The lounge offers the space and sockets for a flatscreen TV, and their position above the single dinette seat is particularly practical because the screen can easily be viewed from the dinette bench seat.
Kitchen
The Coral’s kitchen lies at the midway point. It has a handy three drawers, but its appearance is rather functional. However, there is an extractor fan above the worktop, as well as a Heki rooflight above.
Washroom
The washroom is in the middle of the ’van. The shower has a plastic seat, but the sink is smaller than many rivals’. There’s enough room to move about, and there’s ample headroom for all but the tallest people. Unfortunately, the angled mirror is set a little too high to be of much use to anyone shorter than 5ft 5ins. A halogen light in the shower is a useful addition.
Beds
As well as the two single beds arranged longitudinally at the rear (the gap can be filled to create a spacious double), there’s an additional single, transverse guest bed via the dinette. A curtain at the end of the bed separates the primary sleeping area. Couples requiring two comfortable, single beds will not be disappointed. You can raise the head end of the mattress to recline comfortably: just pull the frame underneath the mattresses upwards, and the bed head can be locked into a number of different positions to allow bookworms to read in comfort.
Headroom is compromised by the intrusion of cupboards and shelves: the Coral’s shrinks to just 45cm when the bed is flat.
The Coral includes a TV aerial point and mains socket in the bedroom area so you should be able to position a flatscreen television at the foot of one of the beds.
The dinette bed is created by extending a panel below their dinette seats before dropping the table and filling the gap with cushions. We consider this more suitable as a guest bed for occasional use, because it’s quite narrow.
Storage
The Coral offers a large locker under its left-hand single bed, accessible form inside the ‘van. It has three shelves along one side, a light and a hanging rail, making it one of the most practical in its class.
Internally you get a three-quarter length wardrobe with hanging rail. The fresh water tank occupies the area under the dinette bench.
