If you need to run undemanding Windows software and want a keyboard for typing, a low-cost netbook is the best option. It’s difficult to find a bad one these days and most models have essentially the same specifications, but keyboard quality and battery life are two key things to watch out for – and price, of course. Samsung has a number of slim and stylish models, but the new N210 is a solid choice. Its relatively light and the 10” screen is vibrant. Best of all is the seven-hour battery life under heavy use — enough for a full day’s work.
