Discover more about the Siegen 100-piece General Maintenance Tool Kit with Practical Motorhome's review

Overview

At first look the price might put this toolkit in a different league to the others on test, but we found online retailers selling it for as low as £115. Siegen is the entry-level arm of Sealey, so this kit is backed by the renowned tool manufacturer’s warranty. It’s one of the heftiest kits in this test and will take up lots of space and payload, so you’re unlikely to carry this on tour unless you have a garage. The reason for this heft is that the tools are bulky and solid, and include the largest sockets for the socket wrench in this test (although it leaves out the smaller sockets that come with some other kits). The wrench itself feels very reliable and is a real highlight. We also liked the well-made household curved claw hammer. We’re not sure about the case, though – the sliding plastic latches that secure the upper compartment seem a bit fiddly and flimsy.
