Read Practical Motorhome's Avenir Vermont bike carrier review, if you're looking to travel on two wheels during your next tour

Overview

Avenir is owned by Raleigh, and famed for good-value cycle racks. Unfortunately, ‘value’ in bike rack world is synonymous with ‘assembly’, so prepare to be befuddled when you unbox the Vermont. The instructions are decent, though, and once you’ve put it together it’s easy to fit, secure and supports your bikes well. Materials quality isn’t high as, say, VW’s own rack, but then neither is the price. We wish three grab arms came as standard, but otherwise we like this well-priced rack.

Price £129.99.
